Archana Singhal

A Qualified and trained Counsellor & Family Therapist, Educator and, Yoga coach based out of capital of India- Delhi. I am a member of 'National Psychological Wellbeing Council' and 'Counsellor Council of India'.

I have focused on working with individuals and families. I recognise the role played by family and all relationships in our lives so I encourage the clients to work with me alongside their family for achieving common goals. I am a certified and well-trained counsellor and Family Therapist.
I work with adolescents and adults going through life transitions, stress, anxiety, PTSD, low self-esteem, low mood, mild depression and postpartum stress. I also work with maternal mental health and with families going through life transitions, dysfunctions and relationship issues pertaining to friends, spouse and partners. I also provide premarital and marital counselling.

People often report that they have started feeling better only after first session. This may not mean that issue has been resolved but speaking openly with a non-judgemental and supportive individual makes one relieved almost instantly.
Counsellor/Therapist works with client to set mutual goals and plans with regard to where you expect to reach with the process. Depending on the situation and issue effective counselling and Therapy takes somewhere between 6-13 sessions and sometimes longer. You and Me, can set our goals and work on them together!

Any counselling and therapy work on the basis of therapeutic relationship that gets established between the therapist and client. I also go by that and focus on the relationship that build between me and client to make the change happen.
I work with the client centred approach that’s also known as Rogerian model where client makes the choices which affects his/her life. I work in congruency with the client. I strive to take my clients to a level where they make most difficult and bravest changes when they feel accepted, safe and supported. Our capacity of making human connections is amazing and I work towards developing a healthy alliance with my clients.
Also, I adopt an integration of a few ever-growing number of therapeutic techniques like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Talk Therapy, Creative Therapy, interpersonal Therapy and more…

I work with my clients globally, so depending on the needs of clients I give appointments for morning, afternoon and evening.

Cost of the session depends on the length of the session and on whether the session is 1:1 or includes spouse and other family members. The first session is called intake session which helps both the client and the therapist know each other and for the general assessment of the client’s situation. It is also meant for both parties to understand if the client and the therapist are a good match. Post assessment, economical packages are offered to the client as per requirement.
